Zoom's Q8 doesn't only shoot high-definition video, its audio is also of an outstanding quality. As such, the recorder is ideal for capturing concerts. The Q8 records video at a resolution of 2304 x 1296 pixels, while a digital zoom function and a 160-degree wide-angle lens ensure an impressive range. Featuring a detachable capsule microphone and two XLR/TRS inputs, it offers plenty of audio options too.
Zoom Q8: versatile and user-friendly
A large touch LCD display allows you to quickly and easily adjust the camera settings of the AV recorder. The Q8 has a headphone output so you can monitor your audio, and two XLR/TRS inputs to accommodate external microphones. A built-in speaker allows for effortless playback, and the camera can be connected to your computer by means of its USB output.
A multi-purpose AV recorder
Thanks to its X/Y configuration, the MSH-6 MS capsule microphone that is included with the Zoom recorder is able to capture a wide stereo image. Use an SD, SDHC or SDXC card to store your recordings. The audio/video recorder is fitted with a lithium-ion battery that can be recharged via an AC adapter or USB. A full battery allows you to record for over two hours. With the Q8, Zoom has issued a versatile camera that can be used for a wide range of applications.
